Move: Daily Movement Coach app — Is it Worth It?

First off, we all know that there are apps that are truly awful and are only there for your money and so on.  I will go ahead and tell you right now — the Move: Daily Movement Coach app on Google Play (released on February 11, 2026) by Cockpit Mobile, LLC, tried to sucker me into their app.

I'll try anything twice just to see if it works, how well it works, how much it costs (if anything), and if it is really worth it — then report back to the masses if needed.  I found Move on a Facebook ad and figured "Eh, might as well" and downloaded it.  Browsed the app.  Found it relevant.  Easy to use.  Oh, an A.I. coach, eesh — then sat it to the side after logging that I had yoga for an hour earlier in the day.

It had an update.  It had an update roughly two hours after I had downloaded it and I went ahead with the update.  It now has a 7 day / 1 week free trial  before having to pay $19.98 monthly for access to the following:

  • Personalized A.I. Coaching
  • Unlimited Activity Tracking
  • Rewards & Merchandise Credits
  • Community Access

Now don't get me wrong — I know plenty of health/fitness apps that have a monthly subscription fee, and I have used their free trials.  They're awesome (and also have free-to-use versions), but they have a VERY large number of users.

When I downloaded Move it had "10+" under it's number of times downloaded.

What I saw was just as "eh" as my attention toward downloading it, and it is most definitely NOT worth a penny - let alone 20$US each month.

If you're on an iOS, let me know how that version smells - the Android version stinks to high heaven.

P.S. As an aside, I looked at their app website moveapp.ai without any luck — their main directive for the company gives me a 404.  Both websites could be there simply for the use of a tagged email address, but that's not very business-like in my opinion.
