Trying Gold Coffee Reserve

If you don't recall yesterday's lament, I ran out of Couple's Coffee: Something Blue.  I do just so happen to have another coffee that was purchased at the exact same time and stashed in the freezer until such a time it was needed.

Such a time has arrived.

In its stead: Gold Coffee Reserve Blue Mountain medium roast.  The promise of cocoa, sweet honey, and citrus notes sparked a wonderful idea in my head that I must taste it.  I haven't seen it available in stores, so I just threw it into my Amazon basket and kept going.

I haven't opened the bag yet.  I'm a timid mouse when it comes to something new and I'm going to try to find another person to help me taste-test this one.  I have to taste coffee straight, nothing added to it, so I know exactly what I'm working with and don't have to attempt to get the taste right when adding anything to it.

Maybe I'm just different, but that's how I swing with my coffee, my tea, my herbal drinks -- if I don't like it on the first sip at the first brew, I'm just going to give it away to someone else who does like it.  If it isn't good on the first sip, untainted, it isn't worth my time ...I don't need coffee with my creamer!

Hopefully I will have a second post today, right here on Christmas Eve, to let you know my verdict -- and that of at least one more tester.

Wish us good sips!

PS: I did not add a link for purchase because 1) I haven't tasted it yet, therefore I have no previous tasting, and 2) I don't want to misguide anyone with a random link to a product. <3
