Starbucks For Life: Merrython

Starbucks for Life: Merrython is in full swing, dear readers, and I meant to write about this last night.

Sadly, I was tired and fell asleep long before I could think twice about getting back onto my keyboard and deliver the good news, having been on various Christmas errands all day.

Regardless of if you are a die-hard Starbucks fan or not, playing a quick game on your phone once a week (you get a free play once every Monday) for possible points and/or free coffee for life is nothing to scoff at, is it?  I actually gained 10 stars from my attempt last night.

You can gain more plays, obviously, by making "weekly challenge" purchases, and EVERY FRIDAY "they could be worth double":

  • December 8th - 14th: Holiday Gifter*
Gift $10 (or more) via a Starbucks eGift Card this week to earn your Holiday Gifter Prize Play credit.
  • December 8th - 14th: Seattle Sampler*
Purchase any featured food or drink collectibles from the Seattle level [of the Merrython game] (mocha, latte, treat, egg bites or bakes) one time this week to snag your Seattle Sampler Prize Play credit!

(Those words are almost perfectly verbatim from the website, just so you're aware.)

There are also other ways to grab freebie plays each week, but I'll leave that up to you if you're interested in grabbing such -- especially since I know not everyone is even interested in trying.

I'm too far away for a quick Starbucks stop, but I have been wanting their eggnog espresso for several months -- and it is definitely on my slightly adjusted 2025 resolutions to have at least one ordered before the end of December.  What better way to do that than by playing their Merrython?

If you don't already have a Starbucks account registered, it's really easy to do over their website or through their apps -- available for Android through the Google Play store as well as iOS through the App store.  If you're not a fan of Starbucks, that's fine -- maybe you have a friend who is, and you may get enough stars to treat them to a coffee or bakery item or something.  You never know, right?

Starbucks for Life: Merrython is pretty straightforward -- gather cups etc and don't get hit by things that aren't cups etc.  You may or may not win something, but you can't win if you don't play.

Good luck to all, and to all a good Starbucks experience!
