Benjamin: Is it worth it?

First off, Benjamin is available both for Android and iOS.  If you would like to use a referral code, we can both earn an extra 1$US once you have earned at least 10$US - cash outs start at 25$US.

The Benjamin earning app was one that I stuck by pretty religiously every single day without faltering.  Right now, I have still been going onto the app daily for the past 381 days just to sign in and get my accrued days needed for special rewards.  So far?  Over the last 381 days I have reached 31 rewards for a total of $24.60.

That's not a lot of money.  That's not a lot of money at all.

When I first started using the Benjamin app, I was majorly impressed: Every day signing in was a five-cent bonus.  Every ad was a penny added to my total.  Every bonus day was a little surprise waiting for me to jump up with glee and let me know I was worth it.

Then things started going down a little: Every day was worth two-cents.  Then every day was just a penny.

...

Now every day is just another day to count toward a milestone that is worth no less than 5-cents and no more than $1.75.

There are plenty of games to choose from, but every game is based on whatever the provider Benjamin deals with thinks your gameplay is worth.

Can you still earn by watching ads?  Yes, and they are still worth one penny each.  (There's a but coming, I know there's a but coming...)  Sadly, each penny will sit in "pending" mode for two months after you've watched it.

Oh!  They've added the ability to scan receipts to the different ways you can earn money, now.  That's a plus, maybe?  And you can still earn by using them as a hop-off point before making a purchase at one of various online stores.

Has Benjamin gone downhill?  That depends on how you look at Life, the Universe, and Everything:

Sure, you can still earn money on the Benjamin app.  Sure, you can still sign in every day even if you aren't doing games and ads and surveys and receipt scanning and such while still (very slowly) earning money.  Sure - you can still earn money.

But you will be earning money in a very slow manner.

Benjamin was a robust behemoth among earning apps once upon a time - now it sits in my pile of "dailies" just to wait for me to sign in and put it away every morning.

Will I tell you to use it?  Will I tell you not to use it?

Have fun, and thanks for all the fish!
