InboxDollars, MyPoints, Swagbucks, ySense, and Upromise have three things in common:
They're decent websites that you can use to earn money by playing games, filling out surveys, signing up for various offers ...and so on. They have companion apps for your mobile device. They are all owned and maintained by a company called Prodege, LLC.
If you were unaware of the third thing they have in common, don't worry: Most people don't even notice the fine print at the bottom of the websites!
I'm someone who reads the fine print. I'm someone who does the research and places it in a lump sum so you can read all of it at your leisure. I'm someone who doesn't mind giving tips on things so you can zoom through from start to finish in the best time possible, if it is possible.
"But you said you don't like using--"
Once upon a time, Mathie was a newbie GPT user. Regardless of your level, these are still very potent sites that shouldn't be completely dismissed. In 2023, I managed to grind my way to nearly $900 from games alone through Upromise.
That's nothing to laugh about, as it really was hard work for an entire year - and to only walk away with just under 900$US, hoping everything panned out in time for specific bills to be paid through said funds, was a fire under my feet. Intentionally giving a goal of paying a few bills (or suffer the consequences by having my phone and internet disconnected) pushed me through it.
Should you give yourself such a large task? No. Or, rather, sure - if you're a masochist. (I'm a perfectionist, but there's a fine line between the two and the terms can sometimes be interchangeable - more notably, both end up with some sort of intentional pain involved [mental or physical] and both do not run away from it.)
Let's step away from the psychologist's chair a moment and look at those websites, shall we?
Again, they all have common traits. Most notable are the ability to earn from 1) playing games on your mobile device, 2) completing surveys, 3) obtaining money back from purchases made online.

(Please note that the screenshots show my total personal earnings from each site, and some of them do not specify how long I have been with them. Overall, I rarely use them.)

I'm placing this one first simply because I used it in the title. There are no true "best" sites, here, but there are notions that everyone should be aware of as far as payouts are concerned.
The entire site uses dollar amounts rather than a "points" system. While this is a good thing (you don't have to calculate how many points you need just to make a dollar), if you want a direct payout through PayPal ...you have to be mindful of a .30 surcharge just to have said payout occur.
All other payout methods (electronic gift cards) have flat fees. The selection is pretty big.
This site also has an app for Android, as well as a "Billy Button" extension for your computer browser.
Minimum payout is 5$US.
MyPoints:

Again, there is nothing saying any of these are the "best."
MyPoints uses a points system: 800 points = 5$US (minimum payout). If you want a PayPal payout, you will need an additional 48 points for the surcharge.
Their selection of electronic gift cards is the same as InboxDollars.
This site also has an app for Android, as well as an extension for your computer browser (shopping).
Swagbucks:

This is usually the first name anyone thinks of when talking about earnings websites. Is that a good thing? Sure. Unlike MyPoints, Swagbuck's "points" system actually transfers to one (1) SB ("Swagbuck") = 1 cent US.
Just like InboxDollars and MyPoints, you need a little extra added if you want a PayPal payout (an extra 30 SB) - and they have the same selection of electronic gift cards.
This site also has three separate apps available on Android (games, surveys, trivia), as well as an extension for your computer browser.
Minimum payout is 5$US.
ySense:

Like InboxDollars, they deal strictly dollar for dollar rather than using a points system. Minimum payout is 5$US, and you need an extra .30 for a PayPal payout; they have the same electronic gift card selection.
This site also has an app for Android (and also iOS, but I do not use such therefore cannot comment on it), as well as an extension for your computer browser.
This one is a new addition to my collection of GPT sites - as you can see from the screenshot.
Normally viewed as a survey site, they've got a little bit of everything. My meager earnings in the short time I've been with them have been accrued through daily polls and ONE game. If I can earn? So can you!
[As noted in the screenshot, I am an affiliate of ySense - just because I'm affiliate, however, doesn't mean I'm trying to plug this site above others to gain referrals. If I were? It would have been the first one on this page, not the fourth. As an affiliate, I may obtain compensation (at no cost to you) if you use my link.]
Upromise:

You've all been waiting for this one, the one that I earned nearly 900$US on during 2023. Most view it as something you can use ONLY if you're a student. This is a false belief - you do not need a 529 Plan to become a member, you do not need to be a college student to use it, and you most certainly do not have to leave it if you've been a college student using it and have now left college/graduated!
These stigmas are complete BS - do NOT follow this idiotic line of dialogue that has been spread online through various sites, as you're just playing into the hands of others for absolutely no reason.
Now that that is out of my system?
I absolutely LOVE this one. Out of all five, this is the only one that rewards you with cash directly deposited into your bank account at the first part of the month - as long as you meet the 10$US minimum. Instead of waiting to get the email stating you have a gift card waiting, isn't it a little bit better knowing you have a specific day of the month that the money will be directly deposited into your banking account?
Yes, that is the main reason why I stuck with Upromise for a year. Knowing that there is a solid payout date, no questions asked, as long as I met the 10$US minimum allowed me to feel a little better about what I was doing - and I wouldn't accidentally delete a gift card email! (Yes, I have done that before, and hope to never do it again.)
This site also has an app for both Android and iOS, as well as an extension for your computer browser.
------------------------------------------
One thing to remember with these sites: Even though they are not exactly KYC (Know Your Customer), if you decide to wait until you have a very large payout (50$ or more)? You may cause a red flag to rise up on their end and they will not allow you to go any further with said payout until you show proof of identity. While this is not the most welcomed happenstance when dealing with GPT sites/apps, it does happen on occasion.
Does it mean you will not be able to use the site until you've given proof? No. It just means they won't let you touch that one specific payout until you've shown ID. [This is based on my own personal happenstance, as I needed to make a quick payout through MyPoints a few years ago and ...yeah, I still have 50$ sitting in wait; I do not want to show off my ID, so I guess I'll just let it sit. I have made several smaller payouts since, but this is not an umbrella happenstance. Use your best judgement.]
Now! You've seen what I have managed to make fiscally with these five (5) websites [I intentionally did screenshots so you wouldn't think I was blowing smoke, these are all screenshots of my personal accounts] -- let's see what you can do!
And, as a parting gesture, I will leave you with a Doctor Who quote:
"Just go forward in all your beliefs, and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine."
Enjoy!
