ShopBack: Is it worth it?
Rakuten is a common name, as are ibotta, Shopkick, and Upside.
More than likely you've never heard of this little gem: ShopBack.
Until recently, I had never heard of it, either! Thing is... I'm always looking for a good deal, and I'm always willing to try things out just to see if they're worth the hype.
So far, over the course of just one week, I have earned 24.99$US for just a few purchases alongside "quests" based on said purchases. Quests are a big bonus, in my opinion, as it allows you to select what you're willing to purchase based on the options given. The quests I decided to jump on?
Well, as I was already planning to shop on Amazon for a few electronics, I grabbed an electronics voucher worth 3.99$ cashback on top of the 1$ that was already a guaranteed win for the store I was going to be using. I then opted into the "purchase from two different stores" for another 5$ and made a little side purchase from Walmart for an extra 10$ (at 0.7% of the total purchase price). Adding in another 5$ for the use of their browser extension to make yet another purchase as a side quest?
If you already make purchases online, I will say that ShopBack is a no-brainer.
Sadly, I did not sign up for the app with a referral code for an extra bonus as far as my current tally.
Don't make that mistake.
The current referral amount is 15$ to you, at no extra cost, just for signing up with this link - what's there to lose? Just make sure to add your PayPal information so you can get your payout - minimum payouts are actually just 5$ (but the original referral amount gifted to you can only be paid out once you have gotten at least 5$ worth of confirmed cash back from online purchases through the app or web extension).
Currently available through website, as well as with apps for Android (Google Play) and iOS (Apple Store).

Mathie Tremas is always looking for the next awesome deal. Any referral links posted may allow them monetary incentives through the app/website for the referral itself at no cost to the invited individuals. (Mathie says thank you in advance for your use of their referral links, by the way.)
