Mode Earn: Is it really worth it?
Is Mode Earn really worth it?
YES.
...
Okay, here's the deal: You won't really get very far with making a purchase with their Mode Phone (there, I said it). I actually used the MP1 for a few years and O.M.G. it wasn't a phone, you needed to have either a secondary phone with a decent hotspot or a WiFi signal to make it work properly as a VoiP style phone, and just use it to play random games for money.
In all seriousness, it wasn't a bad electronic device. 32GB with a 32GB secondary internal removable SD card gave you all the space you needed to make a little money on the side. It didn't overheat, it played music to help you earn on the side for a few hours, and it did what it was supposed to do ...except be a phone. So many people had issues with it not actually connecting to a network.
I found out much, much later that TextNow (SIM card) did work properly. Sadly, the battery managed to bloat not long after that, and the games offered more often needed far more than the 64/64GB offered in the new and improved MP2.
If -- IF -- you decide to try the Mode phone yourself, PLEASE do not buy directly from their website. You can get a much better deal ($100 - $120) through Amazon, Best Buy, or Walmart, and not be tied down to a monthly subscription fee.
THAT SAID, if you can find yourself a decent phone that will not overheat under the pressures the app can actually force onto a normal smartphone, you can earn several hundred dollars a year by playing music, charging your phone, reading news articles, playing games, doing surveys, watching ads, opening emails and following the instructions found in them -- and you can get 1.5x the points for a subscription (32$US annually, which isn't bad as long as you use the app daily).
Is it too good to be true? I wouldn't be writing about it if I wasn't using the app on a regular basis.
I have been a proud user of the Mode Earn app (formerly known as Current) since 2021, and I will not stray from them. I will never expect to become rich from using the platform, but it helps pay the bills.
This year alone, from just reading news articles, listening to music, charging my phone, and playing a few games on the side (I use a lot of different apps, so I don't pay much attention to the games offered), I have managed to cash out 150$US.
If you're interested in trying Mode Earn out for yourself, feel free to use my referral code - once you've played your first game, you will be rewarded with 1,ooo points (add 1,ooo more and you can cash out 50-cents to PayPal -- or you can work your way up to 40,ooo points for a 20$US PayPal payment, which truly doesn't take very long).
Mode Earn is available for Android (Google Play).
Have fun! 💙
